This role of Lube & Tire Technician is a critical and important role at our dealership. The most popular services we perform for our guests are express services (like oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections).

·     Performing a thorough 27-point inspection on every vehicle
·     Performing oil changes, maintenance services, rotating tires, etc…
·     Assuring guests' vehicles are clean upon return
·     Keeping work area clean, safe, and organized

·     Clean driving record and driver's license required
·     Dependable and reliable self-starter, ability to work in a team environment
·     Communication skills and effective communication with others
·     Basic computer skills
·     Previous experience in an automotive service environment preferred, but not required
·     Willingness to submit a pre-employment background check
·     8 hour shift Monday-Friday
·     Know, adhere, and act in a manner aligned with safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities
·     Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical, while adhering to state/local laws and guidelines
·     Install and perform tire maintenance and/or service
·     Fluid services on most vehicles including oil, transmission fluid, differential fluid, and others
·     Safely operate and maintain customer or warehouse vehicles and equipment
·     Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment and optimize space utilization
·     Cleans and preps the shop by keeping area clean, safe, free of debris and other hazards
·     Promotes a safe work environment
·     Fill in on tasks as needed to maintain the flow of the shop. Examples could be running a shuttle, selling tickets, checking out customers, cleaning the bathroom, picking up a part, or any other task that can be safely completed
·     Any other task as assigned by Company or direct supervisor
